This was an exciting week for our students in their Spanish classes. 7th graders continued working on our first unit related to “Lakes on the American Continent”, they have been researching about lakes in different countries, completing worksheets and making comparative chart between two lakes. Some of them started to work on their summative assessment making posters about one specific lake in North, Central or South America. 8th graders have been doing practice Spanish tests to prepare for the SAT test. They also are working on the first unit related to “Myths and legends”. Next week they will start working on their summative assessment, writing myths or legends and creating some puppets for a final show of their work.
Today we had a great Assembly about Monarch butterflies and their life cycle because MIS’s new mascot is a Monarch.
Have a great weekend.
