Hello Families,

First off, thanks everyone who came to the Community Project presentations yesterday.  The kiddos were articulate, thoughtful and even made the Missoulian!

Here are some calendar notes about upcoming middle school events:
  • The sixth graders wrote and performed their plays based on Greek mythology this week.  The plays were such a hit, we have an encore performance on Monday, June 3rd at 12:15 in Ismara’s room.  Come join us!
  •  The entire middle school community will be presenting to the younger grades about their experiences on their class trips.  This assembly is on Tuesday, June 4th at 12:15.  We will begin in the gym and then move through different stations.
A week from today, we will watch this exceptional class graduate.
    • On Friday, June 7th, please bring your child to the UM Recital Hall by 9:00 am.  They should bring everything that they will need for graduation that morning (i.e. instruments, change of clothes, etc. — we do hope that the graduates will dress up a bit for the ceremony).
    • I will tape off the first few rows of seats in the theatre to reserve for the families of graduates.
    • The 8th graders are not required to come to school the week of June 10th.  They are done after the 7th!
Calendar events for the week after graduation:
  • On Monday, June 10th, the 6th and 7th graders will spend the morning at Currents to celebrate the school year.
  • On Tuesday, June 11th we will spend the morning doing service projects around the school and then participating in field day that afternoon.
  • Wednesday, June 12th is the last day of school!  School ends at 11:30.
Please let us know if you have any questions about all of this excitement.
Warmly,
Gillian
